WORLD PARTNERSHIPS

Ryan and Brea McMillan serve as a church planters with the International Mission Board in Berlin, Germany. Ryan and Brea are southeastern Oklahoma natives and were students at Southeastern Oklahoma State University when God called Ryan to full-time international missions. Ryan utilizes ordinary things and his passions like American football to spread the Gospel and initiate spiritual conversations in a secular city. Germans are one of the least reached peoples in the entire world. The McMillans currently host church weekly in their home with persistence to build the kingdom of God. You can join in building God’s Kingdom in Germany by engaging in FBC’s Berlin mission trips, sacrificially praying for the McMillan family and the people of east Berlin, or by giving to the FBC Durant Go Tell It Missions offering which directly impacts their work.

In 2019, First Baptist Church Cúcuta, Colombia received missionary Francisco Chavez and his family from Central Baptist Church Barquisimeto, Venezuela to establish a new church in Cúcuta. A group of families began to meet and endured the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, they completed the requirements from the Colombian Baptist Division to become a legal and formal church. Now, they are having several services per week including worship, prayer meetings, discipleship meetings, music school, and Bible classes for kids and teenagers. Throughout years of work, they have had unconditional support from the Samaritan’s Purse and sustainment by the grace of God. Praise the Lord for everything He has done, is doing, and will do in Cúcuta, Colombia.
