Jim Hodson joined the staff in March of 2010. He has been in vocational ministry since 1992 serving in various areas of ministry in both Oklahoma and Texas. He received his Bachelor degree in Christian Education from Texas Wesleyan University in 1989 where he concentrated his studies in the area of children and youth. In 1991, Jim graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a concentration in Communication. He and his wife Susan are the parents of two adult children, Sarah and Nathan. Susan works at Southeastern Oklahoma State University as an Academic Advisor.

Jim has served as the Minister to Children at FBC Durant for 10 years and recently accepted the opportunity to help with the Education Ministry. He also enjoys teaching Bible courses at Southeastern as a Volunteer Instructor. Jim enjoys collecting anything related to eagles because his favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31. He also loves spending time with his family and cheering on the Dallas Mavericks, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs.
