FALLS CREEK 2024!!!!

Falls Creek is a youth camp in Davis, Oklahoma where students get the opportunity to fellowship, worship, and grow with other students by attending big group tabernacle, assorted activities, and in-cabin devotions. This year we will have two weeks that we will be attending. One week will be for High School Students only (9-12) and the other week will be Middle School Students only (7&8).

Wednesday Night Series: NO APOLOGIES

We are starting a new 4 week series called No Apologies! We will be taking a look at other ideas/religions, see how some of their overarching beliefs compare to Christianity. The goal is to be prepared to have better Gospel Conversations and stir a desire to dig into our own faith.
FAMILY DISCUSSION PROMPTS:
WEEK 2: Jehovah's Witness
  1. What was something interesting you learned?
  2. Have you ever interacted with anyone who considers themselves Jehovah’s Witness?
  3. If someone came up to you right now and told you that they believe in God but didn’t believe Jesus is God, what would you tell them?
  4. Unlike Jehovah’s Witnesses, salvation is a free gift from God. You don’t earn it, it is given to use because of what Jesus has done. Why do you think people struggle with the idea of a free gift from God? Why do you think people would prefer “earning their salvation?”
  5. One thing that prevents Jehovah’s Witnesses from truly seeing God for who He is, is because they can only learn from their version of the Bible from their leaders. This prevents them from studying Scripture themselves. How is your Bible reading time with God? Are you studying for yourself who God is from His Word? If not, why not?

The Purpose

We are a ministry for students in grades 7 through 12. We want to see every student we come in contact with grow in their relationship with God. As a Bible believing church, we believe in making disciples of all the nations. We see student ministry as a huge part in that. Our goal is to provide a community of people to serve and see students become saved, become discipled, and be sent out for the Kingdom of God.
Missions

The Program

We meet weekly on Wednesday nights at the church for what we call the WAVE. The WAVE is our student ministry. We gather in fellowship and have worship together. We believe that Jesus should be the centerpiece in everything we do. Each student is designated into a tribe determined by what grade they are in. Your tribe is your family group. All the activities we do revolve around your tribe. We also participate in annual youth ministry events such as Falls Creek, Saw You at the Pole, and United Weekend.
